Working in close partnership with our customers, we further develop existing coating technologies in a highly practical, application‑driven way – always with the aim of maximising operational benefit.
Since 2014 we have successfully utilised our proprietary laser spraying process. Using this method, we apply proven alloys such as HASTELLOY™, INCONEL™ 625 or STELLITE™ 21 to components with a metallurgical bond and extremely low dilution.
The result is a high‑purity, highly homogeneous coating structure that allows the full materials‑engineering advantages of our solutions to come into their own – especially in demanding high‑temperature environments.
KIMETRO – Fast, Precise, Efficient
What began as a strategic discussion within the key‑account initiative of Duisburg Business & Innovation GmbH (DBI) has evolved into a flagship project for successful cooperation between industry, research and economic development in Duisburg: the KIMETRO project.
KIMETRO is derived from the German “KI‑unterstützte METallROhr‑Beschichtung” – an AI‑assisted metal‑tube coating solution that uses artificial intelligence (AI) to determine the optimal processing temperature for metal tubes in real time. This technology represents a major step forward in the automation of high‑temperature processes and significantly extends the possibilities in advanced materials processing.

KIMETRO – Where AI Meets Industry
With KIMETRO, we have achieved a genuine leap in innovation. Together with ZaKI.D – the Centre for Applied Artificial Intelligence Duisburg – and Duisburg Business & Innovation GmbH, we at Häuser & Co GmbH have developed a forward‑looking solution that fundamentally rethinks industrial processes.
The result:
An AI‑supported system that identifies the optimal processing temperature for metal tubes in real time – revolutionising the automation of high‑temperature processes. Fast, precise, efficient.
The decisive impulse came from DBI: through targeted networking and support, an initial idea evolved into an innovation project with model character. Funding advisory, cooperation with academia and technology expertise – all from a single source, all in Duisburg.
A strong network of industry, research and urban development has demonstrated what is possible when the right partners work together.
